Reading skills are critical for success in school and life beyond, yet a significant proportion of children fail to reach their potential in reading, for various reasons. This ESRC IAA funded project provides an opportunity to share researcher and teacher expertise on this topic to improve children’s reading outcomes. We’ll provide content to develop breadth and depth of knowledge in this area, which will be relevant for the whole primary school curriculum (from supporting early reading acquisition to developing later reading comprehension skills).
